I recently returned from visiting one of my favorite FL towns, St. Augustine.

European charm, a vibrant arts & entertainment scene, quaint shops and southern hospitality are what you will find when visiting the nation’s oldest continuously occupied European settlement.

Staying in the historic downtown of the “Nation’s Oldest City” puts you within easy walking distance of St. Augustine’s best sites.

The Old Town Trolley Tour is a great way to get acclimated.Horse-drawn carriage rides down cobblestone streets also makes for a fun and romantic experience. Tours of Flagler College, the Old Fort, ghostly haunts, winery tours, museums(Pirate’s Museum-one of my favs), and the Fountain of Youth are just a few of the fun things to do on a visit to St. Augustine.

For a city who just turned 450 years old this month, she’s wearing her age well. St. Augustine does a great job of weaving the historic with the new.

The students at Flagler College bring a cool vibe to the town. Ponce de Leon must have picked up on this energy when drinking from that youthful fountain!

Now is the perfect time to plan a visit for the Night of Lights Festival-2 months of 2 million Christmas lights, merriment and lots of fun will take place this year from November 21 to January 31.

The city becomes truly magical during this time and is even more special.  I’m more than happy to put together a great weekend getaway. St. Augustine is perfect for families, couples, friends and even our furry friends are welcome. Contact me for suggestions on best places to stay, dine & shop.

Reach out! I so look forward to planning your perfect weekend getaway!
