John Upchurch

Travel is a passion that I’ve had all my life. I particularly enjoy active and wellness travel, and sampling local cuisine. I have been lucky to travel to all seven continents and sail on most cruise lines. 

I have a lot of experience with small luxury cruise lines and unique destinations. Some of my favorite activities include snorkeling, snowboarding, golfing, diving, hanging out on the beach & paddleboarding (even in Antarctica). 

I also love hiking (Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain) and cycling when I travel, as you get to see an entirely different perspective of your destination, as well as see sights you wouldn’t otherwise get to visit. 

Some of my favorite destinations to visit are Africa, Europe, and the Caribbean. 

My role as a travel advisor means listening carefully to each of my clients’ wants and needs in order to create their perfect travel plan. This involves a lot of organizational skills and paying close attention to every little detail. 

I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel all over the world and visit all seven continents. My experiences inform my ability to make personal recommendations for my clients and provide them with the best travel imaginable.
